Body pimples are a real pain. By body pimples, I’m referring to anywhere on your body except your face. They can be on your neck, back, chest, legs, buttocks, etc.
I have had experience treating body pimples, and let me tell you that they are no fun.
They tend to be stubborn and difficult to sooth, and can sometimes be quite painful.
There are only a handful of products on the market for treating body pimples. Most of them include Salicylic Acid, but a few might contain Benzoyl Peroxide.
Product 1: Salicylic Acid will take off a layer of your skin (exfoliate) in order to unclog your pores. Don’t worry, it’s such a thin layer, that it shouldn’t be noticed by anyone. The pros of products with this compound in it is that it will make your skin smooth and may even clear up your skin. The cons are that it might not work and that it sometimes irritates your skin and causes you to break out more.
Product 2: Benzoyl Peroxide will kill the bacteria that cause acne. It works for more people than Salicylic Acid, but it does have its down points. The main one being that it bleaches colored clothing and towels, so be careful if you use a product that has Benzoyl Peroxide.
Feel free to try body scrubs with these chemicals for treating body pimples. I know that they work for many people. Unfortunately, not for me.
What I’ve done myself is I’ve tried to look at everything I’ve been doing, including my diet, exercise, and facial regimen. I refer to it as a holistic method, and guess what? I have clear skin!
