Does junk food cause acne?

okay my dad and i are fighting about acne. He says that junk food causes acne. Because when he was about 14 he worked at foster freeze and ate a lot of junk food, but he had a lot of stress at school. I think that acne doesn’t cause acne at all and that it was caused by stress. And just recently i gave him a chocolate bar, and he ate it and he got a zit. But theres been a lot of stress at home, so i think thats it.
