Can you use regular acne pruducts that you use for your face on chest and back acne?

It will be summer soon and I will be swimming and having my shirt off, so I am embarrassed to take it off with my acne, but I was wondering if I could use regular acne pruducts on my chest and back, or do I have to use a special acne product just specified for only chest and back acne? Also, can you could recommend a good acne product? =) Thanks
