customized acne regimen?
is it better to make your own regimin out of products that are best for you or buy a pre packaged one? for example i have really sensitive skin.
so i could go with a oil free acne wash(cleanser), alcohol free toner, and a oil free moisturizer. as oppose to the neutrogena advanced therapy solutions system.
Skin is always a toughy…
I have sensitive skin as well, and I use Clinique’s acne system, but it makes my skin too dry so I use additional oil-free lotion afterwards.
It’s all a matter of testing.
If you have really bad acne, I would try the prepackaged products first and see how you react, and maybe add on to them if it seems to work (but not with more cleansers or you’ll kill your skin!)
If you have a fairly clear complexion, try your own mix, but I advise you to do so over like winter/summer vacation so you have time to see what happens.
By the way, depending on your sensitivity, the prepackaged stuff can really give you a violent reaction at first since many use alcohol. Be careful and good luck!
